What Is Australian Standard AS1851?

Australian Standard AS1851 – Routine Servicing Fire Protection Systems is the standard that may be applied to fire systems and equipment regardless of building age. This standard may be applied to demonstrate minimum performance requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC) BCA, Volume 1 for new buildings or existing buildings.

What Can HTC Group Do?

In Queensland, maintenance and certification are both acknowledged by issuing of a Form 71 and 72. The Code behind the Forms is the Queensland Development Code which. The QDC is enforced under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008, Section 50. The QDC states that maintenance is performed in compliance with the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (A1 to A5) and that commissioning is conducted in compliance with the Building Act 1975 (P3 to P5).
